Ace babysits the Littles and learns how creative and courageous they are.
Summary[]
Pete R., Prince, and Sir hike up the snowy mountains to go sledding. Pete R. prepares the boys for the rough ride ahead of them by engaging them in exercises that help their understanding of sledding. Prince begins to question Pete R.'s intentions.
Ace is left to watch over Tink R., Nice, Madame, and his brother Speedy. The Littles misbehave and create messes in Ace's home. In order to calm the boys and girls down, he throws a royal ceremony in which he seats himself on his throne and dubs each of them as a royal member of his court: Madame as the royal jester, Tink R. as the royal outfitter, Nice as the royal artist, and Speedy as his sir-in-waiting. Speedy begins to get tired of playing pretend with Ace and starts to wander off towards the snowy mountains where the older brothers went.
While following the path, Speedy gets led astray and wanders into a cave. Prince, impatient with Pete R.'s methods, hijacks a sled and proceeds down the slope. While hitting a snowdrift he crashes his sled. The snow impacted from the crash tumbles down and blocks the entrance to the cave Speedy wandered into.
Noticing Speedy is missing, Ace takes the Littles to go search for him. The boys and girl follow the path of flower petals left behind by Speedy. When they reach the end of the path the boys notice little footprints left behind in the snow leading up the mountain.
Spotting a small blue scarf that Tink R. had given Speedy earlier, the boys call out for him from the other side of the snow block-in. After hearing Speedy call back for help,
Ace and the Littles bury him out. Prince and Sir realize the importance of Pete R.'s lessons after Prince’s careless accident. The boys meet up with Ace and the Littles. After feeling remorseful for not letting Speedy go sledding earlier, Ace suggests that his friends take the Littles with them to go sledding.
While Pete R. and Tink R. supervises the three pairs of brothers, the boys and a girl proceed down the slope. Pete R. brings out some hot cocoa for the boys but they notice the Littles have tuckered out from their busy day of adventure.

- Tink R. initially offers Speedy a small blue scarf, but the scarf buried in the snow is pink which is the one Ace was given.
